One Church - Two Services
Classic Worship: A warm and inviting sanctuary, accented with beautiful stained glass windows. Melodious hymns, choruses, and special music. And a message from the Word that will touch your heart. Bayview's traditional worship service, "Classic Worship," is led by Senior Pastor Jack Steenbergh and meets at 10:30 on Sunday mornings. This service is a wonderful opportunity to worship and engage God in a traditional church environment.
Fresh Wind: A stage set with props and visuals. Sunlight beaming in through bay-facing windows. A warm welcome, and a relaxed environment... Don't forget to grab some coffee and donuts as you sit at a table or in a chair. Bayview's contemporary worship service, "Fresh Wind," is led by Pastor Cameron Dockery and meets at 10:30 on Sunday mornings in the Family Life Center. This service, including a contemporary music worship team, provides an inviting atmosphere and an opportunity to encounter God in a fresh new way.
Kids' Worship: Led by Jon and Heather Groves, Kids' Worship is an opportunity for young children to learn God's teachings. This service includes a time of music and fun activities that engage the kids and help them to learn along the way. Kids' Worship begins at 10:30 on Sunday mornings.
Sunday School Classes: Bayview provides a number of sunday school ministries for all ages. Whether for preschoolers and elementary students, junior high and highschool students, or adults, you will find Bayview has something for you. Sunday school classes begin at 9:30 on Sunday mornings. Following are the current adult classes being held.
Letters of Peter & Jude - Don Griffin, Betty Parker, & Jim Pascoe
Room 203-4
M & M's (Married & Marriageable) - Pastor Cameron Dockery & Jon Groves
"Laugh Your Way To A Better Marriage" - Cherry Room
Sunday Morning Nursery: Bayview provides a children's nursery on Sunday mornings starting at 9:30 and running to the end of the worship services. There is a nursery for infants 1-15 months and for toddlers 16 months to 3 years. Each nursery is supervised by multiple adults, moms, and dads.
The Edge - Youth Ministries: Shooting pool, playing air hockey, or lounging on a couch and chatting with friends. Playing the Nintendo Wii on the big screen. Sipping coffee or soda at a table on the balcony of the Family Life Center. An occassional game of basketball or dodgeball... And discussing God's Word and the relevant issues facing the life of today's youth. These are some of the things you may see on any particular night that the youth meet. Currently The Edge meets on Wednesday nights from 7pm to 8:30pm to dive into the Word and grow as young Christians. The new youth outreach, "Friday Night Lights," meets from 8pm to 11:30pm on Friday nights for a time of food, fun, and activities. FNL also hosts a youth worship band, special music, and a fast & fun message that will reach all teens coming in. FNL is open to all teenagers, 13yrs to college age.

Sunday Cafe: For college-aged young adults, this evening lounge and cafe is held at 7pm in the Coke Room. Wireless internet, movies, music, and games are provided along with soup, chili, and sandwiches. The Sunday Cafe is an opportunity for young adults to connect and relax in an environment of their peers. Be sure to watch for an occasional guest "chef" appearance who will cook for the group.
Angel Food Ministries: Bayview Wesleyan Church participates with Angel Food Ministries. Angel Food is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The ministry crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.
Angel Food is available in a quantity that can fit into a medium-sized box at $30 per unit. Each month's menu is different than the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items with an average retail value of approximately $60. Generally, one unit of food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost a month. The food is all the same high quality one could purchase at a grocery store. There are no second-hand items, no damaged or out-dated goods, no dented cans without labels, no day-old breads and no produce that is almost too ripe.
If you would like to participate in this ministry, click here to download the current month's menu or contact Jeff Nash at angelfood.bwc@gmail.com.
